Henri-Jacques de Caumont, duc de La Force (March 5, 1675 – July 20, 1726) was Duc de La Force, member of the Académie Française (seat 7 (1715-1726)) and Finance vice-minister of France, 1718-1719.
In June 1698 he married Anne Marie de Beuselin de Bosmelet and had 4 children all of whom died before the age of five.
He was close to Regent Philippe I, Duke of Orléans.
In 1715 he was appointed protector of the académie royale des belles lettres, sciences et arts de Bordeaux; in 1718 he was named to the French Academy of Sciences.
The title of Duc de La Force was remaindered to his brother Armand-Nompar II de Caumont, duc de la Force.
